JeanJean is well known for its exceptional breakfasts, conference lunches and dinners. We offer a unique experience to our clients. We boast about our sophisticated cooking techniques including both International and traditional South African cuisine.
The dining area has a classy and homely atmosphere. JeanJean Guesthouse & Conference Centre is the perfect place to relax and unwind away from the hustle & bustle of the Johannesburg city life.
The menu (Breakfast, Lunch and dinner) is set. Breakfast, lunch & dinner is plated and not buffet. Dinner includes a main course and a soft drink only.
Dinner and Lunch is by appointment only.
Breakfast is served: Monday - Friday: 6h45 - 9h30; Saturday 7h30 - 10h00 and Sundays 7h30 - 10h00
We cater for Vegetarians.
1) Cold - Warm Breakfast Combo
- Drinks: Tea, freshly grounded Italian coffee, juice, water;
- Cold: Fruit salad, yogurt, assorted breakfast cereals, bread, jam & cheese;
- Warm: The menu is set (specific dishes can not be ordered), but differs from day to day to include a variety of warm dishes: Eggs, meat, fish, vegetarian (fried or baked mushroom, potato dishes, baked tomato, vegetarian patties, lentil dishes, etc.
2) The Conference Menu includes lunch and set tea times. Sandwiches, muffins and other snacks are served at an additional charge.
Conference lunches are complimented with a desert.
3) Dinner is served from 6h30 - 9h00. Dinner includes a single course (main course) with a soft drink. Extras are by special order at an additional cost. The Menu is set, including an alternative for vegetarians/ Halaal. Wine is served at request at an additional cost.
We serve a large selection of dishes using diverse flavours: Ostrich and Venison dishes, Chicken, Lamb (chops, Lamp shanks, Lamb curry with Basmati rice, etc.), Beef (Curry, Lasagne, etc.), Vegetarian dishes (Vegetable curry with Basmati rice, Vegetarian lasagne, etc.) Fish dishes, Pasta, Salads, Soups, & Deserts.
